Ok, so football season is in full swing with LSU off to a 3 - 0 record and the Saints sitting at 2 - 0. As far as the records go you can't ask for much more but the teams themselves however have much to be desired. Let's start with LSU. Coming out against a weak North Carolina team (having many of their best defensive players out because of academic violations) they showed hardly no offense and with North Carolina's offense being as weak as it was the defense really had nothing to show either. However, in regards to the near loss of this game I am not sure whether to blame the coaching staff for falling asleep or the players themselves but none the less it was a "W" all the same. Then on to Vanderbilt and Mississippi State which I have been unable to watch but was told that in the Vanderbilt game some of backup QB Lee was shown. Could this be a sign of a future move as far as the starting line up? Does Lee have what it takes to inch past Jefferson. Personally I have never seen anything out of Lee that would make me think that but I could be wrong. I definitely think LSU's biggest challenges are ahead of them even though they don't have a very competitive schedule this year I do believe they will have three strong tests of them as a football team. Florida, Alabama, and Arkansas. I don't see them with the talent, maturity, or play makers to win but one of these games. I believe that post Tebo they have a chance against Florida but with Ingram recovering/recovered the Tide is rolling to hard for the LSU defense to stop and then of course Alabama defense has always been tough competition. As for Arkansas, Ryan Mallett vs LSU defensive backs, end of story. Unless LSU's defensive line can get to Mallett and rattle him if not shut him down then they have no chance.
Now on to the Saints,
Well when your on a role your on a role that is all I have to say. They were on one last year and appear to still be riding high this year. The offense has been struggling scoring only 14 points in the win against the Vikings in the season opener but the defense has stepped up and filled in the gap and as I heard one sports commentator say "The Saints offense will be there" they have to many offensive weapons for it not to be. The only snag in that offense that I see as of now is the injury to Reggie Bush in the 25 -22 win over the 49ers Monday night. They were not sure what the extent of that injury was as he was taken off the field.
Only time will tell the stories of these teams but I look forward to what already appears will be a interesting season.

First Post
This is my first post in the blog world. We will see how it goes. For those people that might read this my blog will most generally be about God, Joy Elizabeth Lyons (my future wife, JB for short), or working out. Also to be included may be a few additional life stories of which I find too funny to not share. I do not use proper grammar because I hate English. I like to focus on content instead of grammar. I am very straight forward with most of my thoughts because there are few things I don't feel strongly about. I live my life by my beliefs. If you get offended easily I would not suggest following but if you need a good, short read every now and then it will be entertaining at least.
I played paintball out at offlimits today with JB for her cousin Tyler's birthday party. It was a lot of fun. I army crawled over fifty feet in order to get a good position on Robert Brown. All the way hoping I would not encounter a snake. I HATE SNAKES. You have never seen a man scream so high or run so hard as me when I come across a snake. The only good snake is a dead snake. I would rather be shot at that be in close contact with one of those creatures. There are very few things I will admit to being scared of but that is one of them (I realize I just waisted five sentences discussing being scared of snakes but I just wanted to make sure everyone got the point). It was JB's first time paintballing. She really liked it though. We had fun. We need to bring some of the youth group out to play some time soon.
I purpose a question to the blog world/anyone who reads this post:
What do you think a good curfew for an individual living at home in their second year of college is, on the weekend? (I am not referring to myself)
